Esses Estate is a premium grower-producer creating sophisticated, late-disgorged sparkling through traditional French methods. Each vintage showcases the essence of the season and the estate on which it is grown. Esses is a family owned and operated estate, with 20-year-old vines, with current releases being produced off a mere 1.5 hectares.

Four Hawk Day
Four Hawk Day wines are produced on our vineyard situated on the banks of the Omaka River, in the charming Cowslip Valley. This distinctive little valley creates a unique microclimate within the Waihopai Valley grape-growing area. We have recorded temperatures ranging from minus 14 to plus 42 degrees here, we took both days off!
